Parasakthi box office off to strong start with 51 crore in two days

With a dominant share from Tamil Nadu and a strong overseas response, Parasakthi has opened to ₹51 crore worldwide in two days, with trade expecting bigger numbers during Pongal.

The makers of Parasakthi have officially announced that the film has grossed over 51 crore worldwide within just two days of its theatrical release, marking a strong start at the box office. The Sudha Kongara-directed political drama registered an impressive 27+ crore on Day 1, followed by 24+ crore on Day 2, underlining sustained audience interest.

A major share of the collections has come from Tamil Nadu, where the film has opened to packed houses and positive word of mouth. In addition to its robust domestic performance, Parasakthi is also enjoying a healthy run in overseas markets. Notably, the film has delivered Sivakarthikeyan’s biggest-ever opening in the UK and Ireland, setting a new benchmark for the actor in those territories.

While collections may see a marginal dip today due to it being a working day, trade analysts remain optimistic about the film’s prospects. With Pongal holidays set to begin in two days, Parasakthi is expected to witness a significant surge in footfalls, particularly during its second week.

Given its strong opening momentum, festive advantage, and positive audience response, Parasakthi is well-positioned to continue its successful box office run in the coming days.
