Parasakthi audio launch speech highlights: Sreeleela, GV Prakash, Sudha Kongara, Ravi Mohan and Siva Karthikeyan share powerful moments

Parasakthi audio launch speeches turned emotional and powerful as the cast and crew reflected on the film’s journey, creative challenges, mutual respect, and its significance as a Pongal release.

The Parasakthi audio launch event turned into an emotionally charged celebration, with the cast and crew offering heartfelt insights into the making of the film, their personal journeys, and the significance of the project ahead of its Pongal release (Jan 10th).

Sreeleela on her role and bond with the team

Actress Sreeleela revealed that Parasakthi gave her a character she had been waiting for a long time. While she initially assumed her role would revolve around songs, she was surprised by how integral her character became to the story. She praised director Sudha Kongara for her meticulous detailing, sharing that the filmmaker would often become emotional while narrating scenes and treated her like a mother on set.

Sreeleela also spoke about her love for melodies, expressing gratitude to GV Prakash Kumar for composing the soulful track Rathnamala. Reflecting on her co-stars, she described Ravi Mohan as someone whose on-screen energy contrasts with his calm off-screen persona, and called Atharvaa a close friend with whom she shared a warm working relationship. She reserved special praise for Siva Karthikeyan, recalling an incident in Pollachi where he patiently interacted with fans long after pack-up, highlighting his humility and kindness.

GV Prakash Kumar marks a major career milestone

Music director GV Prakash Kumar, during his Parasakthi audio launch speech, celebrated a landmark moment — completing 20 years and 100 films in the industry. He thanked everyone who shaped his journey, noting that his first film was produced by Shankar, his 50th starred Vijay, and his 100th features Siva Karthikeyan.

Calling Parasakthi a special project, GV Prakash highlighted his reunion with director Sudha Kongara after Soorarai Pottru and with SK after Amaran. He added that the film’s true intensity has been carefully preserved for the trailer and promised that its impact would be explosive once unveiled.

Sudha Kongara on overcoming the impossible

Director Sudha Kongara, visibly emotional, expressed her gratitude to Mani Ratnam, crediting him for teaching her a vital lesson — to pursue projects deemed impossible. She revealed that Parasakthi was once considered a film that might never happen, but today stands completed because of the collective effort of the cast and crew.

Addressing the audience, she urged viewers to support both Pongal releases, emphasising that cinema thrives when multiple films succeed together in theatres.

Ravi Mohan calls Parasakthi “Pure Gold”

Actor Ravi Mohan described Parasakthi as “pure gold,” stating that he rarely praises films he is part of, but made an exception for SK’s 25th film. He applauded Siva Karthikeyan’s journey, noting that the actor rose to this stature purely through audience support, without industry backing. Ravi Mohan urged fans to continue standing by SK and help elevate his success further.

Siva Karthikeyan on the film, his co-stars, and Pongal releases

In one of the most talked-about Parasakthi audio launch speeches, Siva Karthikeyan said the film fully lives up to its powerful title. Set against the backdrop of the 1960s, the story highlights the strength and sacrifices of students during that era.

SK recalled how Sudha Kongara first narrated the story to him as a love drama before revealing a single powerful line that convinced him to commit to the film instantly. He humorously shared his initial struggle with the English-written script and how Sudha later switched to explaining scenes in Tamil, helping him grow immensely as an actor.

He praised Ravi Mohan’s commanding role in the film, comparing it to Arvind Swamy’s impactful presence in Thani Oruvan. SK also highlighted the film’s swift production, completed in just 82 days, with his portions wrapped in 67 days, crediting Sudha and her team’s discipline.

Speaking about Atharvaa, SK described him as a younger brother and said audiences would deeply appreciate his role. He also addressed rumours of rivalry, clarifying that he consciously avoided clashing with Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, and revealed that Vijay himself conveyed that both films could release during Pongal and perform well.

SK concluded by urging fans to celebrate Vijay’s Jana Nayagan on January 9th and watch Parasakthi on January 10th, while dismissing attempts by social media and sections of the media to create unnecessary friction between them.
