Pa. Ranjith opens up on the story of Thangalaan

In a recent interview, director Pa. Ranjith has opened up on the storyline of Thangalaan, and what it transports the audience to. “Thangalaan is an interesting film that takes place during the colonial period. It is set in the KGF mines, and is about the oppression of the people who worked there. The story is about how their leader is able to fulfil the wishes of the people, or he cannot.”

Thangalaan will release sometime in April end – May, and the team is focused on finalizing the release date of the film very soon, and will be making the announcement once the dates of the elections are put out.
