Few seconds into the teaser of Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren is all you need to realize that this is a different film. The opening dialogue of the teaser gives you an insight into who’s the badder among the two main characters in the Ramayana, and just when you think that this story has a Rama and a Ravana, Vijay Sethupathy blasts out with another dialogue saying that he is both Rama and Ravana here. From there on, director Arumugakumar gushes in lots of scenes and flashes – some fun, some action, some weird, but altogether promising.
From the looks of it, Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren is seemingly the chronicles between a college student (Gautham Karthik) and a tribal head, played by Vijay Sethupathy. In the cast, we also have S. Gayathrie, Niharika Konidela, RJ Ramesh and many others.
What impresses you the most is definitely Justin Prabhakaran’s whacky music score that’s completely different from the melody genre that he has been familiar with so far. With both the songs and the background score, Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren definitely has a lot of scope for the composer which he should put to best use.
Toting up, Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren does hold lots of entertainment factors for the audience who are looking for fun, and at the same time, hungry for content as well. With Vijay Sethupathy in the cast, you don’t have to think much. Right?
