‘Oorum Blood’ first single from Dude brings fun and friendship to the fore

A cheerful first single from Dude, “Oorum Blood” celebrates friendship, love, and city life with Pradeep and Mamitha.

The first single from Dude, the upcoming film starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, has been officially released. Titled “Oorum Blood,” the track carries a lively and lighthearted tone, centred around themes of friendship and youthful romance.

Composed and sung by Sai Abhyankkar, with lyrics by Paal Dabba, “Oorum Blood” also marks the composer’s debut in Tamil cinema. The music video showcases a vibrant slice of city life, featuring scenes from across Chennai, with Pradeep and Mamitha leading the visuals alongside a lively group of supporting characters.

Dude features an ensemble cast including Mamitha Baiju, Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon, and many more young talents. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, marking the studio’s second Tamil venture after their recent film Good Bad Ugly with Ajith Kumar.

The film is directed by Keerthiswaran, who previously worked as an assistant director under Sudha Kongara in Soorarai Pottru. Set for a Diwali release, Dude will be part of a crowded festive slate, going head-to-head with Mari Selvaraj’s Bison starring Dhruv Vikram, as well as Love Insurance Kompany, another film featuring Pradeep Ranganathan, directed by Vignesh Shivan.

“Oorum Blood” sets the tone for what appears to be a youthful entertainer, and gives fans a taste of the colourful and playful world that Dude aims to bring to the screen.
