The makers of Nivin Pauly 50 have officially unveiled the title of the much-awaited film. Titled Vijayam, the project marks the long-awaited reunion of actor Nivin Pauly and filmmaker Alphonse Puthren, who previously delivered the blockbuster hits Neram and Premam.
The title was announced through a special teaser that instantly caught the attention of fans. Staying true to Alphonse Puthren’s signature style, the announcement video offers a glimpse into the film’s world while introducing Nivin Pauly as a bike rider. It also hints that motorcycle racing will form the backdrop of the story.
Vijayam holds special significance as it marks Nivin Pauly’s 50th film, making it a milestone project in the actor’s career. The reunion of the acclaimed actor-director duo after an 11-year gap has further fuelled excitement, with audiences eager to see them recreate the magic of their previous collaborations.
The film also marks Alphonse Puthren’s return to direction after Gold. As with his earlier ventures, he has written the screenplay and is handling the editing, continuing his hands-on creative approach.
Steve Kottur has composed the music for the film, while Shabareesh Varma has penned the lyrics. Vijayam is jointly produced by Pauly Jr. Pictures, Nivin Pauly’s home banner, and Cineholics.
The makers have also confirmed that Vijayam is being planned as a multilingual release, with the film set to hit screens in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, aiming to reach audiences across India.
