Next Schedule of Jailer 2 set to begin in Goa next week

Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 gears up for its next schedule in Goa, featuring major action sequences and key scenes as the film targets a June 2026 release.

The shooting of superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 is progressing at a brisk pace, with the team gearing up for its next major schedule in Goa starting next week. According to sources, significant portions of the film will be shot across some of the state’s most picturesque coastal and interior locations, promising visually stunning backdrops for the action-packed sequences planned.

This upcoming schedule is expected to feature a mix of high-octane action scenes and key emotional moments involving the lead cast. The Goa leg will reportedly play a crucial role in advancing the film’s narrative and tone, blending Nelson Dilipkumar’s signature dark humour with grand-scale storytelling.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 serves as a direct continuation of the 2023 blockbuster Jailer. The sequel will see Rajinikanth reprise his role as the fierce and enigmatic “Tiger” Muthuvel Pandian, with Anirudh Ravichander once again composing the music. The film also features an ensemble cast, including Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and several new additions expected to be revealed soon.

As confirmed earlier, Jailer 2 is slated for a grand worldwide release on June 12th, 2026. With filming already well underway and expectations sky-high following the success of the first part, fans can look forward to another thrilling Rajinikanth-Nelson entertainer that promises a perfect blend of style, emotion, and mass appeal.
