The makers officially unveil the title TN 2026 (Thanga Natchathiram) along with a first-look poster, confirming an April theatrical release for the Natty Subramaniam starrer directed by Umapathy Ramaiah.

The upcoming collaboration between actor Natty Subramaniam and filmmaker Umapathy Ramaiah has officially received its title, TN 2026 (Thanga Natchathiram), with the makers also confirming its theatrical release for April 10, followed by clearing censor with UA. The announcement arrived alongside the unveiling of the film’s first-look poster, giving audiences their first glimpse into the political drama.
Originally referred to as Production No. 6, the film marks Umapathy Ramaiah’s next directorial venture following his debut film Rajakili (2024). The director also serves as the writer for the project, while the screenplay has been penned by veteran actor Thambi Ramaiah, who additionally plays a significant role in the film.
Produced by Kannan Ravi under the Kannan Ravi Groups banner, with Deepak Ravi onboard as co-producer, TN 2026 (Thanga Natchathiram) is positioned as a politically themed entertainer featuring a large ensemble cast. Natty Subramaniam headlines the film, joined by actors including Ilavarasu, MS Bhaskar, Shrrita Rao, Chandini Tamilarasan, Viji Chandrasekar, Vadivukkarasi, Redin Kingsley, John Vijay, Aadukalam Naren, and several others in key roles.
The technical team brings together notable names from Tamil cinema. Music for the film is composed by Darbuka Siva, while cinematography is handled by PG Muthiah and editing by Arul R Thangam. The action sequences are choreographed by Mahesh Mathew, completing the film’s core crew lineup.
