Nalan Kumarasamy to direct Gautham Karthik in his next?

Nalan Kumarasamy, who made an impressive debut in Vijay Sethupathi’s Soodhu Kavvum, has been missing in the action ever since the release of his first film. He was last seen in a blink-and-miss cameo in Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda. It was reported earlier that Nalan’s next film is titled Eskimo Kadhal. Later, Nalan clarified saying he has written two scripts and narrated one of them to Vijay Sethupathi. Now, the latest news is that Nalan Kumarasamy will direct Gautham Karthik in his next.

The film is touted to be a romantic thriller and Nalan decided to go on with Gautham Karthik since Vijay Sethupathi’s diary is jampacked with other projects which he has already committed to, say sources. An official confirmation from the team is awaited.
