Arulnithi steps into the role of Rambo, a formidable kick‑boxer, but the trailer suggests his greatest struggle won’t be inside the ropes. While glimpses of his rigorous training and matchups dominate the nearly two‑minute preview, a new challenger emerges – one who reshapes his world and makes the ring smaller in comparison to what lies ahead.
The film, a sports drama, will bypass theatres and premiere on October 10th on SunNXT – marking a first for both Arulnithi and director Muthaiya. Previously, Muthaiya’s Pulikkuthi Pandi had made a direct release on Sun TV back in 2021.
In Rambo, Arulnithi collaborates with Muthaiya for the first time. The supporting cast includes Abhirami, Tanya Ravichandran, Aysha, and VTV Ganesh. The film also reunites Muthaiya with composer Ghibran Vaibodha, after they last worked together in 2013 on Kutti Puli. Cinematography is handled by RD Rajasekar, and editing by Venkat Raajen.
