Movie theaters to remain shut in TN; lockdown extended

The Tamil Nadu state government confirmed on Tuesday evening that movie theatres across the state will continue to remain shut. The lockdown has been extended in the state from October 1st.

Earlier, there were reports that movie theatres might re-open in the state from October 1st. However, the state government has continued the ban on cinema theatres, amusement parks and sub-urban trains across TN till October 31st.
