Mahesh Babu’s wax idol unveiled at AMB Cinemas in Hyderabad

Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu unveiled his wax statue in his prestigious AMB Cinemas yesterday. Mahesh was present along with his family members and turned out to be the major attraction of the event. His wife Namratha and children Gautham, Sithara were left wow after watching the wax idol of Superstar. This is the first time Madame Tussauds conducted an event in India and unveiled a statue outside Singapore. Alex Ward, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Singapore said, “Mahesh Babu is a Superstar. Going with his craze, we wanted to show his wax idol to his fans in India and conducted an event here”.

The team of Madame Tussauds, Singapore Tourism Board and regional, national and international media attended the lavish event. A bunch of specially selected fans got an opportunity to click a selfie with the wax idol of Superstar. With huge crowds gathering outside AMB Cinemas, the organizers allowed the public and Superstar fans to have a glimpse of the wax idol. The place was open for public from the afternoon and over 4000 fans rushed to click pictures till evening.

While Mahesh called it a thrilling experience, his star wife Namratha joked saying that she has two handsome husbands now. “My first reaction was Wow!!! Quite freaky in a way looking at another Me!! Can’t get more real than this. Hats off to the artistry & detailing by the @MTsSingapore team. It’s unbelievably close to life,” posted Mahesh on his official social media handle. He even thanked Madame Tussauds Singapore for bringing his wax idol to Hyderabad.
