Actor Vishal has shared exciting new details about Magudam, revealing that he will be seen in three distinct roles in the upcoming film. The project marks another ambitious outing for the actor, who is also directing the film, while the story has been penned by Ravi Arasu.
Speaking about the film, Vishal said each of his three characters has been designed with a unique personality and purpose. Among them, one character stands out as a die-hard admirer of legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja. According to the actor, the character’s deep admiration for the music maestro plays an important role in shaping his identity and behaviour throughout the story.
Vishal also hinted that portraying three different characters demanded considerable preparation, as each role required distinct body language, expressions and mannerisms. He expressed confidence that audiences would enjoy the variation brought by the triple-role performance.
Apart from directing and headlining the project, Vishal has collaborated with Ravi Arasu, who has written the story for Magudam. The film has already generated curiosity among fans following its promotional material, with expectations continuing to grow.
If the latest reports are accurate, Magudam is expected to hit theatres on August 14, setting up a crowded Independence Day weekend at the Tamil box office. The film is likely to clash with Vishwanath And Sons, Demonte Colony 3, and Hi, making it one of the biggest multi-film releases of the season.
An official confirmation regarding the release date is still awaited from the makers, but anticipation surrounding Magudam continues to build.
