Maddy as police commissioner; Vijay Sethupathi as gangster

Vijay Sethupathi’s gangster flick Vikram-Veda has been in the news for a long time. The plot revolves around how a police commissioner (Vikram) grabs the most elusive gangster (Veda). Set in the backdrop of encounter cops, the latest update is that Maddy is likely to play the role of the encounter specialist in the film, which has Vijay Sethupathi playing the role of a gangster.

Produced by Sashikanth of YNOT Sudios, the film will be directed by Oram Po fame duo Pushkar-Gayathri. The script work for the film has been fine-tuned and the team is expected to finalize the lead cast and make an official announcement in April. It must be noted that it was Sashikanth who gave wings to Sudha Kongara’s Irudhi Suttru.
