Actor Sivakarthikeyan is all set to fly high with his highly anticipated film Maaveeran, which is hitting the screens on the 14th of July. At the press interaction of the film, the actor spoke about why he chose to do the film after doing many lighthearted films in the past.

“I am not saying that Maaveeran is not an entertaining film, it is very audience-friendly. The film is based on a societal problem, and it also speaks politics. But it has an interesting fantasy element, combined with what I have said. So it is a wonderful addition. I surrendered myself to the team, and listened to what they said,” said the actor.
