Lyca to produce director Ponram’s next

Lyca Productions is on a signing spree. After announcing two back to back projects (GV Prakash’s tentatively titled Enakku Innoru Per Irukku and Rajinikanth-Shankar’s 2.o), it looks like the makers have already finalized their next film with director Ponram of Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan fame.

Ponram has confirmed the news and added that lead characters will be decided in a week. The project will be a comedy entertainer like Ponram’s previous films. His Rajini Murugan, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh, is slated for Pongal release along with Jayam Ravi’s Miruthan, Sundar C’s multi-starrer Aranmanai 2, Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai and Vishal’s Kathakali.
