Lyca acquires Sasikumar’s Vetrivel

Lyca Productions has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for Sasikumar’s Vetrivel, which is currently under the post production stage. Lyca recently successfully distributed Vetrimaaran’s Visaaranai, which led to sensible debates in the media on police reforms.

Produced by Ravichandran under the banner Trident Arts and directed by debutant Vasantha Mani, Vetrivel has Sasikumar, who was last seen in Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai, and Miya George of Indru Netru Naalai fame in the lead roles. Lyca is planning to release the film in May.
