Lokesh Kanagaraj reveals interesting details about Thalaivar 171

In his interviews speaking about LEO, director Lokesh Kanagaraj has revealed many interesting tidbits about Thalaivar 171 – his next film with Superstar Rajinikanth. The director said “Thalaivar 171 is a very exciting project for me to work on, as I am moving away from the universe and doing a standalone film. The film is set in the Chennai backdrop, and is sort of – an experimental attempt for me. I will work on the pre-production for the next 4 months and then go on floors.”

Lokesh has also said that he will work on this project without any hurry, and will look to finish the film first and then make any sort of release date announcements. The project will go on floors in March 2024, once Superstar Rajinikanth completes his film with TJ Gnanavel.
