Rajinikanth has confirmed that Lingaa will be released on his birthday December 12, 2014. Earlier KS Ravikumar has promised Thalaivar fans that Lingaa will be released on Rajinikanth’s birthday. The climax schedule of the film is currently happening in Shimoga, Karnataka. Speaking to a television channel at the Mangalore International Airport, Rajinikanth said “My health is fine. Lingaa will be released on my birthday. We are going to shoot now in Shimoga.”
Directed by KS Ravikumar and Produced by Rockline Venkatesh, the film has Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. It has music by AR Rahman. The first look poster of the film is expected soon.
