Karunakaran joins Lingaa for a 20-day shoot with Rajinikanth

Comedian actor Karunakaran is walking on air after being offered a role in Rajinikanth’s Lingaa directed by KS Ravikumar. He was apparently thrilled to bits when KSR’s associate Senthil called him up and inquired about his availability in June. “It’s still taking time to sink in that I’m actually going to work with Rajini sir. I got a call from KS Ravikumar’s associate named Senthil. He straightaway asked me if I had dates for Lingaa in June. I was in a daze, I immediately said yes.”

Karunakaran will join the team in Hyderabad on June 19th. When Senthil confirmed that he will have a 20-day shoot with Rajinikanth, Karunakaran was on cloud-nine. He is still not been told anything about his role in the film and that doesn’t seem to bother him at all. After all, it’s a Rajinikanth film!
