LEO: Thalapathy Vijay starrer could be the first 100 crore day one opener from Tamil cinema!
Thalapathy Vijay’s LEO is hitting the roof in terms of its box office collections, and the team opening bookings well in advance has turned out to be a big plus. The Vijay starrer has already broken records and is about to reach the 1 million mark with its advance sales for the USA premieres in a day’s time.
In the UK, LEO has overtaken all the films in its advance bookings, and has set the record for an all-time highest Indian film opening. On the other hand, LEO’s GCC performance is terrific as well, as it has already sold 45000 tickets in the Middle East with 35000 from the UAE alone. Trade units say that the film will break the record for the first day one 100 crore opener from Tamil cinema in history!
