KS Chithra lends her voice for Ghibran

Six time national award winner KS Chithra has lent her voice for the recent sensation Ghibran who made his debut in Vaagai Sooda Vaa with scintillating compositions. The composer has never looked back since and bagged crucial projects in quick succession. That Ghibran is the music composer of Kamal Haasan’s two upcoming films Uttama Villain and Vishwaroopam 2 is a testament to his splendid work.

Ghibran has always picked new and young singers for almost all his films. His choice to pick the national award winning veteran singer Sadhana Sargam for ‘Kannukkul Pothi Veippen’ song in Thirumanam Enum Nikkah took everyone by surprise. But, the output was fantastic and it went on to become a chart-buster. Now, he has roped in KS Chithra for a song in Amara Kaaviyam directed by Jeeva Shankar of Naan fame. Ghibran’s music is said to be the cornerstone of this hill-side love story which is set in the backdrop of Ooty.
