Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan is getting released officially on May 9th. As we have only 5 days left for the film’s release, the countdown for the film officially begins. It is India’s first 3D photorealistic motion capture film. Centroid Studios, who worked on the Brad Pitt’s ‘World War Z’ has employed extraordinary efforts on Kochadaiiyaan to recreate the image of Rajinikanth on screen with the infrared rays pointers on the body suit he was wearing.
“I don’t know much about this technology but it is definitely different. We cannot explain how hard it was and how everything was created,” says Rajinikanth in a daily. The bookings for the film is likely to begin tonight or tomorrow in multiplexes. Inflated prices for tickets have been a norm for every Rajinikanth film as we have witnessed in the past. Campaigns to curb greedy ticket prices have been initiated too for film buffs.
