Kiruthiga Udhaynidhi confirms Dhanush film

We reported few days back that Dhanush is all set to team up with Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi after her uber-cool debut film Vanakkam Chennai. Now, the filmmaker has confirmed the same. “Yes, I am doing my next film for Dhanush’s banner Wunderbar Films. Unlike my debut film, which was a romcom, this will be an emotional family drama.We have got Anirudh on board for this film. Apart from this, I am yet to decide on the cast and crew. Pre-production has just started and I can confirm about other details in a week.”

Kiruthiga has also refuted rumors floating around that Vijay Sethupathi is part of the project. She has clarified that she has not approached anyone yet for the film. “Dhanush being a good friend, I narrated my story to him casually. It was a surprise when he came forward to produce the film,” says Kiruthiga. However, a little birdie tells us that Udhaynidhi is likely to don the greasepaint.
