King Title Reveal: Siddharth Anand promises a new Shahrukh Khan experience

Shahrukh Khan transforms for Siddharth Anand’s action saga King, promising an intense, stylish, and emotional experience unlike anything fans have seen before.

In a grand birthday surprise for fans, director Siddharth Anand officially unveiled the title of Shahrukh Khan’s next big venture –  King. The announcement came with a striking teaser that instantly set the internet abuzz, showcasing SRK in a never before seen avatar: silver-streaked hair, a bold red ear cuff, and a chillingly intense expression.

The teaser opens with Khan’s gravelly voice over asking, “How many people did I kill? I don’t remember…” before cutting to a series of gritty, high-impact action shots. SRK’s character appears both broken and dangerous, radiating an air of mystery and menace. One particularly captivating moment features him using a playing card as a deadly weapon – a detail that fans can’t stop talking about.

Director Siddharth Anand, who earlier delivered the blockbuster Pathaan with Shahrukh, described King as “a completely new Shahrukh Khan experience.” The film promises to explore a darker, more stylized side of the superstar, blending emotional depth with intense action.

Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King is being positioned as one of the most ambitious projects in Khan’s career. Reports suggest that the film will feature elaborate international action sequences, sleek production design, and a massive ensemble cast.

With filming underway, King is slated for a 2026 release. While the primary release will be in Hindi, the film is also expected to hit screens in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and other regional languages, aiming to deliver a truly pan-Indian cinematic experience that redefines the legend of Shahrukh Khan.
