Kiara Advani has embraced a striking and complex character in Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, starring alongside Rocking Star Yash in one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2026. The makers have officially revealed her first look as Nadia, giving audiences an early glimpse into the emotional range the project aims to explore.

Coming four years after Yash’s pan-Indian blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2, Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas and positions itself as a spectacle with soul. Advani’s character stands out in the initial visuals, layered with both strength and vulnerability against a vibrant backdrop that suggests glamour, yet hints at deep emotional undercurrents. Nadia is described as a role that moves beyond conventional portrayals, demanding subtlety and intensity in equal measure.

Kiara has been praised for her versatility across a wide range of genres, and this role appears to push her into new territory. According to director Geetu Mohandas, some performances transcend the film itself, and Kiara’s portrayal of Nadia is poised to be a transformative moment in her career.

Toxic is shot simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in multiple languages as part of its global strategy. The film brings together an acclaimed technical team, including cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, music by Ravi Basrur, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and production design by TP Abid. Its action sequences are being crafted by JJ Perry and the award-winning duo Anbariv, combining international flair with homegrown expertise.

Produced jointly by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is slated for a grand theatrical release on March 19th 2026, promising to deliver both spectacle and emotional depth.
