Kayal is a tribute to Tsunami victims

After Mynaa and Kumki, Prabhu Solomon is ready with this next film Kayal, a love story set in the backdrop of 2004 Tsunami. The dubbing work is currently under progress. Jointly produced by Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures and Prabhu Solomon’s God Pictures, the film Anandhi and Chandra, two new faces in lead roles.

It is my tribute to those who lost their loved ones in the tsunami. The tag line says it all — ‘Many lost their loved ones, one man lost his love.’ I travelled extensively to areas battered by the tsunami —Colachel, Manakudi, Kanyakumari. The climax is in Kanyakumari. There’s a lot of VFX involved in the film,” says Prabhu to a daily. Quiz him about Imman’s magical compositions in Kumki and Mynaa, His score for Kayal has surpassed his magic in Mynaa and Kumki,” promises Prabhu.
