Elated by the success of Papanasam, the team organized a thanksgiving meet yesterday where the entire characters of the film were brought alive on the dais to show appreciation to the audience and media.

Kamal Haasan said, “I have heard from various close sources that Mohanlal said Kamal Haasan would be the only right person for the role. At this point, I would like to thank him for recommending me. Because, not many stars would do that.”
