While Udhayanidhi Stalin has filed a complaint against Kajal Aggarwal for failing to return the advance money paid to her for Nanbenda, Kajal Aggarwal has another story to tell. “When they signed Kajal, she had blocked 40 days from January 2014 for the film. Then, just 20 days before the shoot, they informed her that she was being replaced with Nayanthara. The reason given was that her film Azhagu Raja didn’t do well at the box office. However, later, they offered her another film under the same banner to compensate for the given advance,” reports a daily quoting a source close to the actress.
But, Udhayanidhi is looking forward to settle things peacefully. “I have nothing personal against Kajal and I don’t know what her stand on the issue is, but as a producer, I’ve approached the TFPC to sort out the issue. We are hoping we can sort things out amicably,” says Udhayanidhi. Now, T. Siva of Tamil Films Producers’ Council has said that the issue will be taken up this week and will be clarified soon.
