“Kaatru Veliyidai is set against air force, military backdrop,” says Karthi

Karthi has said his ongoing project Kaatru Veliyidai with director Mani Ratnam is set against air force and military backdrop. Karthi essays the role of a fighter pilot in the film, whose shooting is currently underway in Ladakh.

The team has completed 60% of portions and is planning to wrap up the entire schedule before December. Major portions of the film will be shot in Kashmir. Produced by Madras Talkies, Kaatru Veliyidai has Aditi Rao Hydari making her Tamil debut as lead lady. The film will be presented by Sri Thenandal Films in Tamil Nadu.
