Lovely little soundtrack
Kaaka Muttai is a wonderful blend of innovation and heart from a composer who was going through a dark, humdrum patch. Call it a comeback or not, this is quality stuff from GVP.

Sel Sel: Singer – Sathya Prakash
Sathya Prakash adds a carnatic flavor to this innovative tryout from GVP which has lovely lyrics by Na.Muthukar. Mixing shenai, strings and some mellifluous vocals with a catchy hook, the composer starts off the album on a great note!
Maanjave Kaanjachu: Singer – Gaana Bala, Srihari
GVP and Gaana Bala – back together once again. A cheeky little track which is as mysterious and mischievous as the two boys in the film. What works here is the sync between the two male vocalists.
Karuppu Karuppu: Singer – GV Prakash Kumar
Here comes a fantastic blend of the dubstep and light kuthu genres. GVP gets himself on the mic here, and it works in his favour. A true headbanger, this one.
Edhai Ninaithom: Singer – GV Prakash Kumar
A beautiful, heartwarming solo to end the album on a high. Bent on the meaningful lyrics by Na.Muthukumar, this is a moving listen on the whole.
