Jil Jung Juk Songs Review

Review Overview

Shoot the Kuruvi
Domeru Lordu
Red Roadu
Casanova
Shoot the Kili

Jaunty, animated soundtrack.

Vishal Chandrasekhar’s latest offering in Jil Jung Juk is a lovely mix of innovative tunes, delivered in a glossy, shining box. After the first two tracks, the album drops slightly in its in engagement factor. However, the new world feel which comes embedded within makes it worth a listen. Go check it out if you still haven’t.

Cast: Siddharth, RJ Balaji, Avinash Raghudevan, Sananth Reddy, Nassar, Radharavi

Music: Vishal Chandrashekhar

Direction: Deeraj Vaidu

Shoot the Kuruvi: Singers – Anirudh, Siddharth, ‘Datho’ Radha Ravi

Unescapable, whacky start to the album. Anirudh’s voice which we find in every other album goes through a new makeover here, keeping it slow and intriguing. However, the best part of the track is undoubtedly Radha Ravi’s comic lines which swoop in at the midpoint. Easily goes on to be our PICK-u.

Domeru Lordu: Singers – Anthony Daasan, Kavita Thomas

Full on, power-packed track which rules mainly to the lead vocalists. Kavita Thomas adds a rich feel to the song, fused in with Anthony Daasan who keeps the rural flavour ticking. Another PICK-u.

Red Roadu: Singers – Santhosh Narayanan, Sean Roldan

Decently panned out song which is somewhat saved by the striking combo of Santosh Narayanan and Sean Roldan, who render this one in their trademark style.

Casanova: Singer – Andrea

Above the music and lyrics, it is the mixing quality here which makes your head turn and bang. Andrea does a passable job on the mic.

Shoot the Kili: Singer – Siddharth

A simple, female track which ends the album on a fine note. The use of the jazz style must be lauded here.
