Jiiva’s Gypsy caught up in a web of trouble from the censor board

Rajumurugan’s upcoming project Gypsy created a lot of expectations when the trailer and the album were put out, but ever since, the film has been on silent mode. This is because of the various troubles it has been facing from the censor board, who are asking the team to mute controversial dialogues, chop off some scenes and change the names of few characters.

According to sources, the content of the film is said to have some controversial remarks on the Hindutva groups, which is why there seems to be an issue with the clearance. The team is now pushing forward to see what can be done, in order to arrive at an amicable settlement with the board.
