Jana Nayagan Audio Launch Speech: What Lokesh Kanagaraj, Nelson and Atlee said on stage

From emotional tributes to personal memories, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Nelson Dilipkumar and Atlee shared heartfelt moments and reflections on their bond with Thalapathy Vijay.

The Jana Nayagan audio launch commenced on a spectacular note in Malaysia, marking a historic moment as the event officially entered the Malaysian Book of Records for hosting an audio launch with the highest number of attendees in the country. The scale, energy, and emotion surrounding the evening stood as a testament to Thalapathy Vijay’s unmatched global fanbase.

A major highlight of the night was the presence of filmmakers fondly referred to as “Thalapathy Vijay’s boys” – Lokesh Kanagaraj, Nelson Dilipkumar, and Atlee: each sharing heartfelt memories and reflections on their association with the star.

Lokesh Kanagaraj received thunderous cheers even before he began speaking. Reflecting on his journey, he described Master and Leo as defining films in his career, crediting Master for earning him widespread recognition within the industry. Fondly calling Vijay the “Master of Zen Mode,” Lokesh noted that he was familiar with the entire Jana Nayagan team through past collaborations. He concluded by wishing the film blockbuster success and extended his best wishes to Vijay for his future aspirations.

Nelson Dilipkumar followed with a lighter tone, remarking that the atmosphere felt like watching the Argentina World Cup final live. He recalled how, despite Beast receiving mixed reviews, Vijay continued to check on him daily. Sharing a deeply personal moment, Nelson revealed that when he once asked Vijay if he was upset, Vijay reassured him that no film could ever define their friendship. Calling Vijay a brother, Nelson added that since Jana Nayagan has been announced as Vijay’s final film, he wished he could collaborate once more to correct the mistakes he felt he made in Beast, drawing emotional applause.

Atlee, Vijay’s self-confessed biggest fan, delivered one of the most touching speeches of the evening. Addressing Vijay as “Ennoda Annan, Ennoda Thalapathy,” he recalled how Vijay encouraged him during his assistant director days, despite having already completed 50 films. Atlee likened people in life to leaves, branches, and roots: describing Vijay as a root who never leaves. The moment culminated in Atlee running up to Vijay, embracing him warmly, with Vijay returning the gesture affectionately on stage.

Jana Nayagan is set for a worldwide theatrical release on January 9th, while the grand audio launch will be telecast on Zee Tamil on January 4th, allowing audiences everywhere to relive a truly historic celebration.
