Jailer to target the Vinayagar Chathurthi weekend for release

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer will be wrapped up in a couple of weeks, as there are just a handful of days left to be shot. The film has some patch work shots and a song featuring Tamannah to be shot, and it will then move on fully into the post production stage.

Jailer was initially targeting a release in August, but sources tell us that the film is looking to arrive for the September 15th – Vinayagar Chaturthi weekend. The film will be done its shoot fully before the team come out with the official words on the date announcement and further updates on the singles and promo material.
