Jailer to hit the screens in August 2023

Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Jailer is turning out to be one of the most exciting projects of 2023, with the recent additions to the cast in the form of Mohanlal, Sunil and Tamannah upping the buzz. The film was initially looking at a release in May, but now, sources say that it will arrive only in August 2023.

The shoot for Jailer will go on until April, as the film has now become bigger than what it was at first. The action thriller is said to be based on events that take place over a single night, but there is also an interesting period episode in the film.
