Jailer 2 gets bigger with SJ Suryah; Star studded sequel in full swing
According to sources, SJ Suryah has joined Jailer 2 as filming progresses rapidly with a star-studded ensemble cast.
The highly anticipated Jailer 2, the sequel to the blockbuster Jailer, is progressing rapidly with shooting currently underway. As previously reported, SJ Suryah has joined the cast, and it is now confirmed that the actor/director is all set to deliver yet another powerful performance. Known recently for his compelling villain roles, it remains to be seen whether he will portray the antagonist or take on another significant character. His inclusion has undoubtedly heightened fan excitement.
Jailer 2 also features Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Mirnaa Menon, with special appearances expected from Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar. As director Nelson had earlier hinted, Nandamuri Balakrishna, originally considered for Jailer, is also expected to make a guest appearance, adding further star power from across South Indian cinema.
Simultaneously, SJ Suryah is returning to direction after nearly a decade, helming Killer, his first directorial venture since Isai (2015). The film, starring Preethi Asrani, is a grand pan-Indian project being shot in five languages and jointly produced by Sri Gokulam Movies and Angel Studios.
In addition to these, SJ Suryah is also involved in several upcoming projects, including Love Insurance Company with Pradeep Ranganathan, Sardar 2 alongside Karthi, and Bro Code with Ravi Mohan.
