The first single from Jailer 2, titled Ala Bolelo, is now out, giving fans a vibrant musical glimpse into Nelson Dilipkumar’s much-awaited sequel. The song arrives with a peppy dance number led by Anirudh Ravichander, who has composed and sung the track.
The song features Rajinikanth and Shamna Kasim, with Poorna appearing in a traditional kasavu saree during the dance portions. Rajinikanth also makes an appearance in the song, adding to the star appeal of the track.
Ala Bolelo also carries a Malayalam flavour, making its release especially relevant for Kerala audiences during the Onam season. The lyrics are penned by Arunraja Kamaraj, while Niranjana Raman, Aparna Harikumar and Deepthi Suresh have contributed additional vocals.
The track continues Anirudh’s association with Rajinikanth after the hugely popular music of Jailer. With its energetic sound and dance-focused presentation, Ala Bolelo adds another layer of anticipation around the sequel.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 brings Rajinikanth back as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, with Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa and Rithvik also reprising their roles. The sequel further expands its cast with names including SJ Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
The film is expected to continue the story from the first instalment, while returning cameos from Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar and Jackie Shroff are also part of the sequel’s much-discussed ensemble. Jailer 2 is slated to hit theatres worldwide on October 15, 2026.
With Ala Bolelo now out, the musical promotions for Jailer 2 have begun on a high-energy note, adding to the excitement surrounding Rajinikanth’s return as Muthuvel Pandian.
