Mission accomplished, half-heartedly!
Jaihind 2 is in no way connected to its prequel. Ultimate focus of the plot here is making education accessible to the underprivileged. But the narration makes you feel 'something is missing' throughout. Overall, a watchable flick for Action King's stunts & its social consciousness.

A longtime in the making and Arjun does his style and gets back to his roots in Jaihind 2. The actor has shown his different facets and has successively sustained in the industry with his acting, direction, production and of course his young looks with his name embossing as the Action King of Tamil Cinema.
Arjun has split up his screenplay into five parts and merged his characters uniting it into a full-fledged commercial drama along with a strong social awareness message. Arjun as Abhimanyu walks in as a common man who is well built and specially trained in martial arts. He earns his bucks through being a hardware techie part-time and as a karate master for children. His patriotism and love for the fellow beings turn him into an activist who bats for education system in our country. Surveen Chawla plays his pair supporting him for the good cause. A family suffers for their kid’s education in their desire to enroll their kid in a private school, but the fees system and their one-upmanship attitude distress the family forcing them a mass suicide. It provokes Arjun to take up the issue and fight for it. He brings it to the spotlight with the help of media after undergoing so many researches on the status of the educational system in the country and states.
Taking on the media, Arjun explains his plan to nationalize all the schools and hires support from the students and media, both support him and he becomes an overnight hero in the society. Meanwhile, Arjun earns his share of foes for taking on the system. How Arjun handles all the issues and how he successfully manaeges to bring about a change in the educational system is what Jaihind 2 all about. If you looking for a perfect sequel for Jaihind then there is a big no and to compromise Arjun has done it in the action sequence. With the likes of Bramanandham and Mayilsamy present, the giggles are missing, this combo has missed to match the Goundamani – Senthil duo. Break your shackles and you can watch an all new film in Jaihind 2.
