Rachita Ram, who was recently seen in a key role in Coolie, is now in talks to play the female lead in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s anticipated acting debut. The film will be directed by Arun Matheswaran, best known for Captain Miller, and is said to be an intense, action-driven entertainer.

Initially, it was speculated that Jailer actress Mirna Menon would star alongside Lokesh. However, with Rachita Ram now reportedly approached for the project, it remains unclear whether she is replacing Mirnaa or if both will feature in the film. Adding to the buzz, Lokesh has reportedly undergone martial arts training for his role, indicating that his debut as a lead actor will showcase a physically demanding performance. Although this marks his first full-length role, Lokesh has previously made cameo appearances in his directorial venture Master and reportedly in Jana Nayagan, both starring Thalapathy Vijay. In the latter, he is said to appear alongside fellow directors Atlee and Nelson.
