Ilaiyaraja fans upset on James Vasanthan’s comment

The fans of Isaignani Ilaiyaraja are apparently upset over the remarks of James Vasanthan on the recent tribute concert ‘Ennullil MSV’ organized by the Maestro for the late legendary music composer. The Subramaniapuram composer said the concert was ‘far from good’ and ‘turning into self-projection platform’ (he had later retracted this comment).

“Lot of Ilayaraaja fans are upset with me cos I told the truth that MSV Tribute show was far from good. Though I had access to free passes, I bought the maximum ticket only to pay respects to these great masters. But as a music lover and fan of these legends i felt I was let down. Pls verify with the general public who witnessed the show tonight,” posted James Vasanthan on his Facebook page.
