Hindi remake of Theri to be produced by Atlee, directed by Kalees

After a long time of planning, it has now become official that the Hindi remake of Theri is well and truly on. The project will be produced by Atlee’s own production house A for Apple Entertainment, along with Murad Khetani, and will be featuring Varun Dhawan in the lead role.

The film will be directed by Kalees, who earlier made the Jiiva starrer Kee. The project will go on floors later this year, and will hit the screens in May 2024, right after the IPL gets over. More updates on the heroine and the technical crew of the film will be coming by in the next few weeks.
