Harris Jayaraj to compose music for Vikram-Nayanthara’s next

Harris Jayaraj, who has been absent from the Tamil film music scene for almost a year, is back with a new signing. The makers of Vikram’s next yet-untitled project with director Anand Shankar have roped in the veteran composer to score music. 2015 seems to be the most unproductive year for Harris in a long time with only one album (Yennai Arindhaal) released so far. His next album Gethu is expected to be launched next month.

Produced by Shibu Thameens of Puli fame, the film has Nayanthara teaming up with Vikram for the first time in her career. The team is also planning to approach either Nithya Menen or Parvathy Menon to play the second female lead. The movie will go on floors in end-December or early-January.
