On the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s birthday, director SS Rajamouli offered fans a thrilling update on their highly anticipated collaboration, currently known as SSMB29. The first official glimpse of the film is now confirmed to drop in November 2025, sending excitement soaring among fans.
Adding fuel to the buzz, Mahesh Babu unveiled a mysterious poster featuring himself adorned with symbolic elements like a trishul and a bull-shaped pendant – hints pointing toward a strong spiritual or mythological core, possibly centered on Lord Shiva. A smear of blood on his neck adds intensity, suggesting a gritty, action-packed narrative.
With both Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu using the hashtag #Globetrotter, fans are speculating whether this could be the film’s actual title or a broader hint at its adventurous scale. Known for integrating mythology and grandeur in films like Baahubali and RRR, Rajamouli appears ready to scale new heights.
Backed by KL Narayana and crafted by veteran writer Vijayendra Prasad, the film is reportedly mounted on a staggering 1000 crore budget. Music will be composed by MM Keeravani. SSMB29 is currently targeting a March 2027 release.
