GIFT: Alphonse Puthran’s next in Tamil announced, Sandy to play the lead!
Alphonse Puthran’s next film after Gold was set to be in Tamil, and the director was in the works for the casting and the other departments of the film over the past few weeks. Yesterday, the makers have put out the official announcement about the film, with a poster which was entirely in Alphonse Puthran’s mood.
The big news about the project is that Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja will be working on the music for the film, which makes his already shining portfolio of coordinating with new-gen directors even bigger. After Viduthalai, Modern Love and now this project, it is interesting to see him work with such exciting directors who manage to bring out another side of him.
Gift will feature Sandy and Sahana Sarvesh in the lead roles, and has a big cast that also has names like Kovai Sarala. The project is produced by Rahul of Romeo Pictures.
