FIR was written long before Family Man: Manu Anand

In recent articles and social media, it has been mentioned that FIR has a lot of similarities to the first season of Family Man, especially the climax episode. But in one of his interactions post the release of the film, director Manu Anand has clarified that he wrote the film in 2015, and saw Family Man only after he started the shoot of FIR.

FIR has turned out to be one of Vishnu Vishal’s biggest successes in his career, and is looking at a 10 crore gross value in Tamil Nadu by the end of the second weekend.
