Abishan Jeevinth's lead debut wraps filming; a youthful romantic drama backed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and MRP Entertainment enters post-production.

The shoot for the upcoming film starring Abishan Jeevinth – best known for his directorial debut Tourist Family—has officially wrapped. The project marks his first appearance as a lead actor and is jointly presented by Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Zion Films and MRP Entertainment.

From the moment of its announcement, the film has stirred anticipation, with fans eager to see Abishan transition from behind the camera to the forefront. Shot in a swift, single schedule over 35 days, the film was completed across key locations in Chennai and Trichy, showcasing the team’s efficiency and clear creative vision.

Billed as a contemporary romantic drama, the film is aimed at today’s youth and promises to bring a fresh, emotionally engaging narrative to the screen. The story is penned and directed by Madhan, who previously served as co-director on the critically appreciated Lover and the recent hit Tourist Family.

Joining Abishan in the lead is Anaswara Rajan, a celebrated Malayalam actress and youth icon who continues to rise as a prominent face in South Indian cinema. With a proven track record of producing relatable, content-driven films like Good Night, Lover, and the 2025 blockbuster Tourist Family, MRP Entertainment continues its winning streak with this project. The collaboration with Soundarya Rajinikanth, under her Zion Films banner, further elevates the film’s stature and reach.

The film has a strong technical crew of Music by Sean Roldan, Cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna, Editing by Suresh Kumar and Art Direction by Rajkamal. With production wrapped, the team has now entered the post-production phase, with plans to unveil the first look, teaser, and first single in the coming weeks. All signs point to a vibrant, youthful film that could be a standout addition to the Tamil cinema landscape.
