Fahadh Faasil and Sshivada join hands for Prem Kumar’s next

Fahadh Faasil and Sshivada headline C. Prem Kumar’s upcoming emotional action thriller backed by Vels Film International.

Fahadh Faasil is officially teaming up with filmmaker C. Prem Kumar (96, Meiyazhagan fame) for an upcoming Tamil film, and the makers have now unveiled the project’s first official announcement poster. The film, tentatively titled Production No 32, will also feature Sshivada as the female lead.

The project marks Prem Kumar’s next directorial venture after the critically acclaimed Meiyazhagan. While the filmmaker is known for emotional dramas like 96 and Meiyazhagan, this upcoming film is said to explore a completely different space. Earlier, Prem Kumar had confirmed that the film with Fahadh would be an action thriller carrying emotional depth at its core.

According to the makers, the film is being produced by Vels Film International in association with Monsoon Movies, with producer Ishari K Ganesh presenting the project. Music for the film will once again be composed by Govind Vasantha, continuing his successful collaboration with Prem Kumar.

The supporting cast includes actors Chetan, Harish Uthaman, and Karunakaran. Cinematography for the film will be handled by Mahendiran Jayaraju, while editing duties are entrusted to R Govindaraj.

Interestingly, this film marks Fahadh Faasil’s first Tamil film as a solo lead actor. Although Fahadh and Sshivada were recently seen sharing screen space in Patriot, this will be the first time both actors are headlining a project together.

Earlier in an interview, Prem Kumar had revealed that he had been developing the story for nearly four years. The director also shared that Fahadh was highly impressed after hearing the first forty-five minutes of narration, which eventually boosted his confidence to move ahead with the project.

While the makers have kept further plot details and release plans under wraps, the collaboration between Fahadh Faasil and C Prem Kumar has already generated strong excitement among cinema fans.
