“Due to Jayalalitha’s demise, Vijay requested us to cancel the audio launch”

The makers of Bairavaa, in an official statement, have said that Vijay requested them to cancel the audio launch plans as a mark of respect to late former Chief Minister Jayalalitha. “Vijay asked us not to celebrate the audio launch in a grand event. He requested us to keep it simple. The album will be launched directly on the web worldwide on December 23rd,” reads a statement from Venkat Ram Reddy and Bharathy Reddy of Vijaya Productions.
The producers also revealed the film’s highlights such as the gripping stunt sequence of Vijay in a 12-storeyed under construction building and the grand set of a Bairavaa temple in Binny Mills. “We also erected a spectacular set in Prasad Studios to re-stage Koyambedu. More than 200 buses, 300 shops and 1000 junior artists participated in the shooting. Bharathan shot important scenes with Vijay in the set for more than 12 days.” they said.
Starring Keerthy Suresh as the lead heroine, Bairavaa is slated for worldwide Pongal release.
