Following the success of Thandatti, director Ram Sangaiah has continued to strengthen his creative collaboration with Prince Pictures. Known for his grounded storytelling and rural-rooted narratives, Ram has been actively developing some compelling village-centric scripts.
Interestingly, the upcoming project featuring actor Kavin wasn’t initially intended for Sangaiah. The film was first offered to director Krishna, best known for Sillunu Oru Kaadhal and Pathu Thala. However, the baton eventually passed to Ram Sangaiah, who presented his rural drama idea directly to Kavin. The moment Kavin heard the narration, he was reportedly impressed and gave an immediate nod to the project, excited by the story’s earthy setting and emotional depth. Much like Thandatti, this upcoming film is expected to be a character-driven drama set in a rural landscape, exploring themes deeply rooted in tradition and community.
The film marks Prince Pictures’ Production #18 and it will be co-produced by Venaktesh of AV Media. Official announcements regarding the cast and crew are expected to be revealed soon.
